In Brief: Use the Eye Balls (2015) Ithaca International Fantastic Film Festival 2015

Kotaro Hanada is a put upon young man.  Things are so bad that as the film opens he's getting beaten up by three guys. As the beating takes a nasty turn its revealed that he has a second set of eye balls coming out of his nose. Kotaro then goes looking for love in some really odd places.

Weird ass addition to the Japanese line of films that are just out there and strange as humanly possible (Think the work of Noboru Iguchi, Yoshihiro Nishimura Seiji Chiba, or Tak Sakaguchi) but mixed with the low budget sensibility of Troma Films (which is appropriate since Lloyd Kaufman is in the film). Its a crazy film that demands to be screened late at night with large audience of rowdy drunk patrons. This isn't to say that the film is bad, rather it's not the sort of thing that one wants to screen at home alone where you can't build on the audiences energy and almost certain call backs.

Ultimately this is a review proof film. You either like the weirdness on display or you'll run from the theater. If you love the possibility of some severe WTF strangeness then track this film down. All others stay away.
