The plot, (or what pa...I really dislike this film.<br /><br />The plot, (or what passes for a plot but might better be described as the links between the set pieces,) is largely incomprehensible and fairly obviously a reworking of a rejected Bond script. (I've read the novelisation and I'm still not clear on what was going on.) <br /><br />Val Kilmer brings to the central character the charisma of a dial-tone and the warmth and charm of a bouquet of flowers with a small drowned kitten as its centre-piece.<br /><br />I think what I disliked most about it was the sheer obviousness of it as an attempt to start a franchise, and the almost breath-taking ignorance on the part of the film-makers of what made the source material work to begin with.Reghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14543061650234194517noreply@blogger.com
